Due to the large number of applications, Homes for Good will be sending waitlist status letters between November 1st 2022, and February of 2023 to notify applicants of their Randomly Selected Numbers on each list. Applicants may receive separate letters for each waitlist applied for. If you only see one, or some of the waitlists that you applied for in a letter, you can expect to receive multiple letters. There is no need to contact Homes for Good.
Applicants MAY receive a “Top of the List Letter” or a full application packet in the mail if they reach the top of a waitlist. If you have already received this, then you will not receive a letter with your Random Selection Number for that waitlist only.
Numbers We are Currently Serving
We are currently serving numbers 59-147 from our 2022 Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) waitlist.
When your number reaches the top, you received a "Top of the List" letter by mail. Once you have recieved your letter and completed your intake packet, you will be invited to watch the Section 8 Briefing video here . A password for the video will be included in your intake materials.
For applicants on any waiting list, you MUST maintain a current mailing address at all times as you will be contacted through the U.S. Mail when your name comes to the top of the waiting list. If your mail comes back as undeliverable, or if there is no response because you moved and mail was not forwarded, your file will be canceled and you will need to reapply when the waiting list reopens. Address changes should be made by calling 541-682-3755 or by emailing Rent Assistance. For questions regarding Section 8 housing not answered on our website, please call the our office at 541-682-3755.Downloads and Resources
