Homes for Good is searching for an Assistant Property Manager to join our team!

Homes for Good Housing Agency is the Public Housing Authority (PHA) for Lane County, Oregon. Our primary work is to help low-income community members with the logistics of affordable housing. At a higher level, we are neighbors united to get every Lane County resident who needs help into a home.

Our programs provide housing and rental assistance to over 5,000 families in Lane County through voucher-based subsidies and Agency-owned public, multi-family and affordable housing communities.

In addition to rental assistance, our team provides resources to program participants and residents including but not limited to general resident support, Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) programming, Weatherization assistance and HUD’s Family Self-Sufficiency Program..

OUR SUPPORTIVE HOUSING DIVISION TEAM

Our Supportive Housing Division provides housing and supportive services directly to the people who need it most and our cross-functional team is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service while supporting our residents in achieving stability and success. The Supportive Housing Division consists of the Property Management, Resident Services and Maintenance departments. Our combined programs help over 900 households increase stability, access to opportunity, and success in housing.

WHAT YOU WILL DO FOR OUR TEAM

As a key role in our Property Management department, the Assistant Property Manager supports Homes for Good’s mission by coordinating and performing property management functions to ensure excellent customer service, maximum occupancy, successful tenancy, program compliance and self-sufficiency of program participants.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING GUIDELINES: Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

Experience: Two (2) years of property management or responsible clerical experience preferred. Experience in HUD housing, LIHTC, or human services desirable.

Training: Equivalent to the completion of the 12th grade. Additional specialized training in office procedures and practices is highly desirable.

LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE: This position will be required to frequently drive Agency vehicles. Possession of or ability to obtain an appropriate valid State of Oregon driver’s license and be insurable at standard rates is required for this position.

COMPENSATION: The pay range for this position is $23.41 to $31.37 per hour ($48,692.80 to $65,249.60 per year) with a generous benefits package which includes paid health, dental and vision insurance for you and your family after one month of employment, along with life insurance and a 12% contribution of your monthly salary into a retirement account after 6 months of employment.
