We're looking for an Executive Assistant to join our team!
Homes for Good Housing Agency is a high performing public housing authority located in Eugene Oregon, servicing all of Lane County (4,600 sq. miles). The Agency’s primary work is to help low-income Lane County residents access and maintain affordable housing.
The Executive Assistant supports Homes for Good’s mission by performing a wide variety of responsible, confidential, and Executive office functions including direct administrative support for the Executive Director, Communications Director and Board of Commissioners. This position serves as a liaison between various divisions within Homes for Good, our Board of Commissioners, community partners and the general public. At Homes for Good, employees are supported and empowered by a collaborative culture that shapes how we work together with the common goal of providing essential housing services throughout Lane County.
Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply for jobs if they don’t meet every one of the qualifications listed. We are interested in finding the best candidate for the job, and that candidate may be one who comes from a less traditional background. If you meet key qualifications for the job, and believe you would be the best fit, we would encourage you to apply.
Please use your cover letter to explain how you will accomplish parts of the job for which you have less experience. If you are unsure whether you meet the qualifications of this position, please feel free to contact us at hr@homesforgood.org.
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING GUIDELINES: Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Experience: At least three years of increasingly responsible clerical/administrative experience, ideally supporting members of executive staff.
Training: Equivalent to an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business administration, public administration or related field.
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE: While a valid State of Oregon driver’s license and insurable driving record would allow the Executive Assistant to operate Homes for Good vehicles for Agency business, this position does not require a driver’s license.
COMPENSATION: The pay range for this position $4,643.81 - $6,223.14 per month with a generous benefits package which includes paid health, dental and vision insurance for you and your family after one month of employment, along with life insurance and a 12% contribution of your monthly salary into a retirement account after 6 months of employment.
HOW TO APPLY: Application may be obtained and submitted online via BAMBOO. Your application will be screened for the job requirements and the best qualified individuals will be tested and/or invited to an interview.
