Homes for Good Housing Agency is seeking looking for a Finance Director to join our team!

OUR ACCOUNTING & FINANCE TEAM

In addition to the Finance Director, our Accounting & Finance team consists of six highly skilled full time equivalent employees (FTE) including a Finance Manager, Real Estate Accounting Administrator, a Senior Accounting Technician and three Accounting Technicians.

WHAT YOU WILL DO FOR OUR TEAM

The Finance Director is a key position and a member of our executive leadership team, working closely with the Executive Director and other senior leaders. The position is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating complete financial functions for our Agency including the preparation of periodic financial statements and required HUD submissions, budget preparation & administration, accounts payable & receivable, cash & investment management, debt administration and payroll.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING GUIDELINES:

Any combination of experience and training that would provide the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job is sufficient. Typical combinations of training and experience would be:

Experience: Five years of progressively responsible experience in accounting & finance in a public or non-profit agency. Experience in a similar role at a Public Housing Authority is desirable but not required.

Education: Graduation from a four-year college or university with major coursework in accounting, finance or a related field. A certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is highly desirable, but not required.

LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE: Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or the ability to obtain a CPA certification is preferred but not required.

SUBSTITUTION: Any combination of experience and education on a year for year basis up to a maximum of four years of responsible social services or administrative experience may be substituted for the education required provided that the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the work has been demonstrated.

COMPENSATION: The pay range for this position $80,733.84 - $108,191.04 annual salary with a generous benefits package which includes paid health, dental and vision insurance for you and your family after one month of employment, along with life insurance and a 12% contribution of your monthly salary into a retirement account after 6 months of employment.
